Fireflies Reading Program

Our school is participating in the Fireflies Reading Program presented by Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Your child will have the opportunity to improve reading skills while earning a surprise gift and a ticket to a Fireflies baseball game.

Your child will also receive a free hot dog, chips, and drink to enjoy during the game.

Beginning Date:  March 13, 2017                                      
Ending Date: March 31, 2017

The Fireflies Reading Program is divided into 4 segments representing a “base” on the baseball field. When a student completes a segment they will advance to the next base. The goal is to “hit a home run.”

Your child needs to read 1 book on his or her grade level and fill in the Verification form on the back of the parent letter.

A parent’s signature is needed on the respective bases’ verification slip to indicate completion.

​When they have completed their reading goal and return the verification form to school by March 31, they will receive a ticket order form to redeem for a free Fireflies ticket. Additional tickets may also be ordered at a discounted rate to attend with your child.
