"Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day!"

Studies show that children who are read to in the home and who use the library perform better in school. September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when Bridge Creek Elementary joins with the American Library Association and Richland Library to make sure that every student has the most import school supply of all – a free library card.
Richland District 2 is partnering with Richland Public Library to encourage every family member to get a library card. When you come for your parent conference, please bring your student’s or family’s library card. Your student will receive a ticket for a free popsicle at school. If you don’t have a library card, we will have free cards available at school that you can activate online prior to your student’s conference. Please make sure you arrive 10 minutes early for your student’s conference. After you activate your card, your student will receive a ticket for a free popsicle. If you owe fines on your current library card, you can take one of the new cards from BCE to any Richland Library branch and they will remove the fines on student accounts only. |
